Bar Kbzón Haundi in Donostia / San Sebastián

"Food was unique but very good. Asked for a tequila drink with tajin rim and they did it for me! happy about that. ali was great! We sat at the bar for added ambiance. It was pretty quiet but it’s a Wednesday night. Music playing in the background. Got a bunch of small dishes but got full with what we ordered. We got to taste a lot for 50 euro! Favorite dishes: duck carpaccio, tomato salad, &black ravioli !!"

"Fantastic! I was so happy to find this place walking distance from my hotel. I have a dairy allergy and was thrilled to see their menu clearly lists all allergen ingredients. I tried four pintxos and they were delicious! I wish I could eat more Would definitely love a repeat visit. My favorites were the duck carpaccio and the black pudding ravioli. Tayron was very helpful with menu selections for me on both food and wine."

"Dining at Bar Kbzon Haundi was a truly delightful experience from start to finish. The food was exceptional, the staff(July) was incredibly attentive and welcoming, and the atmosphere was perfect for our first stop of the evening."

"This was our third time trying one of the Kbzon restaurants. There are four located throughout Donostia and the first two we tried were located in the old town area of San Sebastian. We enjoyed the food SO much from the first two that we decided to "hunt down" the remaining two locations! This location opened at 12:00pm on a Sunday, so we pregamed with some caffe americanos just down the block while we waited for the restaurant to open. At 12:00 noon, there was no wait whatsoever. We chose a seat after being acknowledged by the bartender, Camila. We ordered some drinks and then proceeded to choose our small bites to share for a group of 4. We mostly ordered pinxtos sizes of 4 different dishes just so we could sample a variety of offerings. However, for the scallop dish, we ordered the "media racion" which came with 4 scallops. My personal favorites were the black pudding ravioli with tomato reduction (which we actually received "por cortesia" on the house!). This was so deliciously earthy and irony but still light. If you're a fan of blood sausage or liver or any type of marrow, then you should definitely try this one! Another note worthy item was the grilled scallops with gorgonzola cheese (what!). Surprisingly, this worked so well together. The gorgonzola was not over powering like one might think. Lastly, my personal favorite, was the crispy pigs ear with sweet salmorejo sauce. As an avid connoisseur of multi pig parts (with my fave being pig's ears and hock, this was absolutely delicious and oily and crispy and savory and PERFECTLY paired with a cana of cervesa. Price wise, for four people and 6 dishes of both pinxtos and media racion, it was about 55 euros! We each had a round of drinks too! Perfect spot to grab drinks and higher end, thoughtfully curated dishes minus the Michelin prices. Muchas gracias a nuestra camarera, Camila. Me das la oportunidad para practicar mi espanol. If the restaurant was a lil closer to our lodging, then I think we would definitely return! I recommend trying the other locations as well as the menus have different offerings!"

"We just had an absolutely delicious selection of pintxios with wine in this brilliant bar, our server was fantastic and super friendly and the food was so good! We loved the grilled prawns, asparagus and bacon, black pudding ravioli and beef skirt especially."

"I ate at a different Kbzón restaurant the day before and loved it, the bartender there told me about the other ones in town, all with different menus. So I came here the next day and was not at all disappointed. The food here was so delicious, rich, filling, and beautifully presented. The service from Ali was perfectly friendly and attentive. The dishes are unique, but still relate to local cuisine. This is fine dining level dishes at an affordable price. I’ve eaten at Michelin star restaurants and I could see Kbzón reaching that level someday. I want to try all their locations!"

"Absolutely amazing. Every dish was phenomenal. The Duck Carpaccio was a favorite. Our server Ali was super helpful and very nice. They explained some of the components of dishes I was curious about. As a former chef and server everything was perfect. Our huge meal was about 80 euros, including a lot, a lot of wine."
